About Us

A lush, green park area with trees and pathways. — Jungle Habitat
A lush, green park area with trees and pathways.

A rider crests the first rise and the forest opens like a green cathedral. Sunlight cuts through the canopy and lands on a slab of ancient rock still warm from the afternoon. Jungle Habitat spreads across 400 acres of mixed woodland and granite outcrops where old logging roads and single-track paths wind between hemlock and oak. The air carries the clean scent of pine needles and damp earth. Hikers pause at a clearing where the remains of a stone foundation remind them the land once held something else entirely. Bikers and ATV riders share the same routes, each group moving at its own pace through the quiet. The park never feels crowded, only alive.

What We Offer

Marked loops range from gentle forest paths to demanding outer trails that climb and drop over rock slabs. Hikers choose shorter circuits or the full 3.5-mile route. ATV and off-road riders follow the same clockwise or counterclockwise circuits with plenty of room to maneuver. The terrain itself becomes the attraction, offering constant variety and natural obstacles that keep every visit fresh.

"Great place to ride ATVs if it wasn't for those pesky mountain bikers & hikers. Those guys ruin the environment!"

"The terrain was rocky and full of surprises, and the huge rock slabs were an absolute blast. We rode the outer loop clockwise, but I think it can be done in either direction. Afterward we stopped at the Smoke Shack BBQ & Burgers for a bite to eat. You can check out our trip by searching "TrailSage" on Youtube"

"Having place to myself was incredible and mtn biking after the rain presented extra challenge. After all of mud puddles and near misses on the edges of blue and red trails end result is a big smile on my face and sore pelvic bones.."
